Presentation Summary:
Discussion on best practices once you've been served with a subpoena – whether a subpoena for the production of documents, or a subpoena for deposition. A subpoena is the only discovery tool available against persons and businesses who are not parties in the underlying lawsuit and is an important and powerful discovery method in litigation.

About Our Speakers:
DENISE E. CHAMBLISS is an attorney at Hoge Fenton and currently serves as chair of the firm's Trust and Estate Practice Group.
Ms. Chambliss is a trial attorney with over twenty years of litigation experience, with a concentration in Trust and Estate and Financial Elder Abuse litigation disputes. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer each year since 2015 and has been nationally recognized as a Best Lawyer. Ms. Chambliss is a past President of the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Counsel.
GIULIANA FERRANTE is an accomplished litigator with a trial litigation practice focused on real estate, business litigation, and other commercial disputes, primarily those involving real estate. Ms. Ferrante has first-chaired several civil trials, achieving successful judgments for her clients.
Ms. Ferrante’s experience revolves around using nuance in law and contracts to create innovative strategies for resolving her clients’ legal disputes. Ms. Ferrante’s passion for the law and its creation led her to become a leading member of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group. Ms. Ferrante also offers consulting services for trial counsel looking to preserve issues for appeal.
